Rewards for the dog (his favorite food or something that really attracts him)
Authority (that no pretty face your dog does convince you of stopping the training)
Wonder that your dog learns something from this
Space for training him

Process

2. Take some process
3. Get the attitude, patience and the wonder
4. Show him how
5. Let him do it by his own by orders
6. Give him a price
7. Repeat the steps until he gets it , practice it

How to house train your dog?

First of all, you need a dog, your dog, he will be so happy and anxious so you need to chill him out, let him calm down to get used to the place you select for the training, let him smell everything for him to get use to were he is and that no smell he perceive distract him. Now, your dog is calmed ready to learn, you as the owner need to get an attitude of authority no too much you are not in a military school, make your order with decision and DO NOT change your tone either louder or lower just keep your volume; too loud will make him think that he did something wrong so he won’t get it, and too low he’ll think that you are giving him some love.

Then, choose what trick you want him to learn, either sit or find a piece of bread, to lie down and fake a dying position. Let’s say you want from easier to harder one, let’s start with the basic one the famous “sit”. If you want your dog to sit, you choose one same order to your dog knows that when he hears that sound of the word he’ll get it and be sited (recalling: dogs don’t understand the words, they get the sound only and that makes them understand) the key word is “sit” so you show (let him smell) the dog a piece of the price and make him know that if he obeys you he’ll get that price, and you be honest if he obeys you DON’T cheat because then he won’t believe you ,he obeys he’ll get the price.

Now he knows that you have something that he doesn’t so, he’ll do what ever you say to take it, there is the moment when you present him the order “sit” you say his name and the key word. For example: Bruno sit in a authoritary tone for Bruno to know that you are not playing, that is a serious time, try to not laugh of him because he won’t take it seriously. If Bruno doesn’t sit down you’ll show him how, take his collar and pull it up and with your other hand you’ll press in his hip down and he’ll take position and tell him to stay there repeat the key word and give him a price for doing it right. Repeat it until he do it by himself, don’t give him a price just because he try it , give him a price because he did it correctly talk to him, show you emotion that he is right and it he do it again whenever you tell he’ll do it because he knows Bruno will be rewarded.

Repeat the steps if you want to teach your dog another trick, remember the key is to get your dog, reward him when he is right and show him when he is wrong do not get mad with him because he made a mistake , just continue tell him no when he is wrong and patience a lot of patience. In case that your lesson is all done and you are on the street and you want him to sit the rewards might not be a price a food price but you should reward him any way with a nice “good boy” or “nice Bruno” something like that with a nice pet on the head just to make him notice that he did the right move.
