crazy toys :)

One day some girls, whose names are Annie and Marie, were at the park playing around just having some fun. They were walking by the sidewalk when they suddenly come up to a table full of toys. A woman behind the table says "hi girls! I'm selling some old toys to gain money to buy a present for my daughter, to any of these call your attention?" Annie and Marie looked carefully at the toys, but none of them caught their eye except for one. There were these two little yellow rubber duckies, they were so cute. So the girls bought both duckies, one for each.

At home the duckies were just sitting in the bathroom with the rest of the other toys like rubber frogs and fishies, barbies and dolls. The difference was that these duckies weren't like the other toys, these duckies talked and listened and moved and everything you could imagine. The rubber duckies would sit on the bath tub and talk and talk for ours with each other and with the girls everytime they washed their teeth or bathed. And sometimes they would be in their room watching TV and laughing.

After a while the duckies began to talk and laugh less. They also wouldn't watch TV as much. They were much quieter and the girls noticed. They thought it was weird but they didn't say anything just yet. Annie and Marie started to miss the old duckies so they decided to talk to them. When they asked the duckies what was going on they answered that they were so different from the rest of the toys that they felt appart from the crowd. Because the other toys didn't talk or move or laugh, the duckies thought that they shouldn't either becuase it was the right thing to do.

Annie and Marie were very surprised at their answer. They quickly responded that there was nothing wrong with being original or different. They told them that just because the other toys didn't talk or laugh, it didn't mean they shouldn't either. Annie and Marie said they loved them just the way they were before and that they were perfect and there was no need to change. They also said that they missed the old duckies and wished they were back.

The duckies took the advice a little too seriously and went to the extreme side. Since the other toys didn't do anything at all, they decided to do the contrary. One of the duckies suddenly screamed his lungs out and laughed and laughed for ours. As for the other duckie, it jumped and ran around the whole room until it got tired. The old duckies were back and Annie and Marie were very glad.
